The Motorola BTT*-*P taps extract power and deliver it to the
network interface device (NID) on the side of the home in
cable telephony applications. RF and AC signals can be
distributed through the F-ports, AC power via twisted
pair is also available. Network powering of telephony
devices is critical for system reliability in these
applications.
The Motorola FFT*-*P taps have been designed to offer improved
return path performance for today's advanced two-way
HFC systems. They accept a variety of plug-in, field
configurable modules that allow greater flexibility in
system design. Only the drop signals are affected by the
plug-in. They are shipped with a standard jumper (T-JP)
installed making them equivalent to FFT*-*N taps. All

is available on both the SDI embedded audio and

Motorola DTA100
The Motorola DTA100 Digital Transport Adapter gives service providers a cost-effective means of realizing the benefits of an all-digital network. It makes it possible for video service subscribers to keep watching their analog TV(s) even when connected to an All-Digital cable network which allows the service provider to recover analog bandwidth in order to launch additional, enhanced digital services such as HDTV.

Motorola SG1000
Motorola's SG1000 optical node is the perfect solution for system operators expanding fiber-rich
architectures with non-redundant, cost-effective optical nodes. Its compact size, flexible fiber
management system, and straightforward electronics package simplify installation in both strand and
pedestal applications. It supports 870 MHz in the forward passband using an integrated optical receiver
and Gallium Arsenide hybrid technology. The Motorola SG1000 optical node features one or two high performance
RF outputs, and can be field-configured with passive accessories to activate a third RF port.
Several different models of 1310 nm return transmitters from –4 to 3 dBm (0.4 to 2 mW) are available to
