Adtec Soloist 2asi
The Adtec Soloist 2-ASI provides all the decoding features of
the Soloist 2 but adds real time program to transport
stream Transcoding. The Transcoding feature provides a
compressed MPEG 2 Transport Stream output via
industry standard DVB-ASI interface. Concurrent
decoding and transcoding of the MPEG 2 Program
Stream is facilitated only from files stored on the hard
drive. The Adtec Soloist 2-ASI is ideally suited for delivery of
broadcast quality MPEG 2 to analog and digital tiers
concurrently when playing from the hard drive or digital
only when transcoding a stream via Ethernet.
