The new Opticomm Optiva™ Series of digital fiber optic transmission systems are designed
entirely by you. They are built to accommodate your precise video, audio and data transport needs. Almost any
configuration is available, all over one fiber.
Opticomm HD-SDI
The Opticomm Optiva™ Series HD-SDI (Uncompressed HD-SDI Video Over Fiber) of digital fiber optic transmission
systems accommodate anywhere from 1-16
uncompressed HD-SDI Video channels (per SMPTE
292M) over one fiber. Each video input will also accept
uncompressed SDI Video at 270 Mbps (per SMPTE
259M).
OPTICOMM SDI
The Optiva™ Series of digital fiber optic transmission systems accommodate anywhere from 1-112uncompressed Serial Digital Interface (SDI) Video channels over one fiber.
Opticomm Optiva™ Enclosures
The Opticomm Optiva™ OT-CC-16 frame is a ruggedized aluminum housing unit that accepts any Optiva™
fiber optic insert card. The mounting ears are reversible, so that card loading, as well as electrical
and optical connections, can be accessed from the front or back. The regulated switching power supply
has short circuit protection and an input operating voltage of 90-264 VAC.
Opticomm OLX-3000
The Opticomm OptiLinx™ OLX-3000 (4.25 Gb/s 144-Port Optical Switch) is a versatile, multi-purpose, non-blocking transparent optical switch that provides high speed
switching between ports with minimal effect on overall
network latency. The OLX series is capable of switching digital
signals up to 4.25 Gb/s with any of its ports. Both a 4RU 144 -
port version and 8RU 288-port version are available. For smaller
applications, see the 16-port OLX-1000 series.
Opticomm DCTR
The Opticomm Optiva DTCR series (Enclosures, Racks & Frames) is crafted from ruggedized aluminum housing to fit all Optiva fiber optic insert cards.
Opticomm Optiva Insert Card Enclosures
The Opticomm OT-CC-16, OT-CC-4-1U, OT-DTCR-2, and OT-DTCR-1 are rackmount and Stand alone Enclosures for Optiva® Insert Cards.
Emcore OPD-2HDP
The Emcore OPD-2HDP is an excellent choice for transporting SMPTE compliant video signals over long or short distances with a single optical wavelength. Supporting two independent SMPTE video signals, the system offers the complete flexibility needed for transporting full uncompressed (2.97 Gbps) 1080p HD over optical fiber.
Emcore OPG-1DVI2A1D1UKM
The Emcore openGear OPG-1DVI2A1D1UKM fiber optic link provides for the digital transmission of video with audio and serial data at broadcast quality. The OPG-1DVI2A1D1UKM is an excellent choice for transmitting the full range of dual-link DVI and SMPTE compliant digital/analog video with audio and serial data over long or short distances using optical fiber.
Emcore OPG-2HDP16DA
The Emcore OPG-2HDP16DA is five products in one: 3G HD-SDI video, audio embedding/ de-embedding, audio signal routing, audio conversion and fiber transport.
Emcore VX-1DVI
The Emcore VX-1DVI optical extender is a single fiber DVI extender that can send one channel of DVI video up to 6.2 miles (10 km). The extender is a low profile unit that transports over standard multimode or singlemode fiber using LC type optical connectors for a secure cable connection.
Opticomm DVB-ASI
The Opticomm Optiva™ Series DVB-ASI (Uncompressed ASI Video Over Fiber) of digital fiber optic transmission systems accommodate anywhere from 1-112 uncompressed Asynchronous Serial Interface (ASI) Video channels over one fiber.
Opticomm OT-CC-4-1U
The Opticomm Optiva™ OT-CC-4-1U frame is a ruggedized
housing unit that accepts any Optiva™ fiber optic
insert card. The mounting ears enable easy mounting
into a standard 19" rack. Card loading, as well as electrical
and optical connections, are accessed from back.
LEDs for status and alert indication are provided on
the front of the chassis. The regulated switching
power supply has short circuit protection and an input
operating voltage of 90-264 VAC.
Opticomm OTP-1SD
The OPTICOMM OTP-1SD provides for the digital transmission of 1 channel of uncompressed SDI Video, at broadcast quality.
Opticomm OTS-2V4A
The Opticomm OTS-2V4A provides for the digital
transmission of 2 Channels of Composite
Video and 4 Channels of Analog Audio.
System Design
All units come in an insert card version.
The cards can be inserted into our 16-slot,
19"¯ rack-mountable card cage (OT-CC-16-100)
or one of our smaller Optiva™ Desktop
Card Racks (OT-DTCR Series).

The Opticomm OTS-4V8A provides for the digital
transmission of 4 Channels of Composite
Video and 8 Channels of Analog Audio.
Opticomm OTS-6SD
The Opticomm OTS-6SD (Standard, 6 SDI) provides for the digital
transmission of 6 Channels of uncompressed
SDI Video, at absolute broadcast quality.
Emcore 2792PRO
The Emcore/Force Model 2792PRO is a versatile Video/Audio
and Data Fiber Optic transport solution operating
in either multimode or single-mode fiber, increasing
the system's flexibility. The module incorporates high quality 12 bit digitized
Analog Video allowing Broadcast Quality Video transport
at contribution prices. Includes 2 channels of 24 bit
digitized Audio for excellent quality.
Emcore 2800
The Emcore/Force Model 2800 1RU Front Panel Rack-mount Kit is
designed to allow up to five modules of certain fiber
optic products to be adapted for use in a standard
EIA 19" rack. This allows for dense packing of fiber
optic modules, reducing the space required for
installation. Unit status indicator LED's are still
visible from the front of the panel, and all
connections are made to the rear of the units.
