Service Engineer

We are currently looking for a Service Engineer who will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. The Service Engineer will work in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for AMT CATV, proposing service solutions, and overseeing and performing professional services to implement the solution when sold.

Essential duties will include:

• Managing and/or executing projects including design, remote and onsite installation, configuration, and launch.
• Creating BOM and design for the customer, developing statement of work (SOW), and presenting solutions to sales and customers. Engineering may consist of projects from individual customer interaction, or from notes gathered from other AMT engineering staff.
• Engaging with sales on customer calls (both telephone and traveling on site) and technically assessing customers' existing architecture and gathering technical requirements.
• Responding to support issues escalated on delivered solutions, as well as support on other products sold.
• Traveling up to 50%

Qualifications include:

• Strong CATV (both Video and Data Services) and IPTV experience
• Technical Operations experience
• Integration, field service & remote support experience
• Experience in the following technologies preferred: Motorola Conditional Access Systems (NASRAC, NAS, and DAC), HITS, Avail, DOCSIS Architecture and Design (DOSCIS3 Experience High desirable), MediaRoom, Minerva/Verimatrix, Innovation
